Hayley GyereHayley Gyere

Hayley is the founder of Victoria Selection & Search whose background in recruitment stems from an early exposure to her family's successful London based recruitment firm. She graduated with a degree in International Management and Spanish from the University of Bath, began her career at Morgan Stanley and subsequently joined the investment team at Tressis - a boutique finance house based in Madrid. Whilst developing her career, she noticed demand for quality bilingual search and selection as well as the need for a personalised candidate approach. Hayley speaks both Spanish and English and is passionate about providing excellence to both clients and candidates.

Victoria Rodríguez NindVictoria Rodríguez Nind

Victoria joined the Victoria Selection & Search team in 2017. She started as an intern whilst completing her degree in Human Resources and Labour Relations at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos I and subsequently became a full-time consultant. Thanks to her dual nationality, Victoria speaks a native level of both English and Spanish, which she puts to good use daily with both clients and candidates. Victoria takes the lead on our more junior roles whilst also provides unfaltering support during senior recruitment processes. Victoria prides herself on being approachable and is always willing to go the extra mile to surpass expectations of both candidates and clients.

Itziar ReparazItziar Reparaz

Itziar is the newest member of the VSS team and joined in 2019. She speaks a bilingual level of English as well as her native Spanish having spent her childhood overseas whilst receiving an American education. She brings with her over two years of generalist recruiting experience and has covered both permanent and temporary positions. She holds a Masters in HR Management and a Degree in Psychology from the University of Santiago de Compostela and puts both to use daily. Itziar enjoys the constant human interaction required in her role and works tirelessly to provide the utmost quality to both candidates and clients.

Hayley es la socia fundadora de Victoria Selection&Search. Su conocimiento del sector proviene de su experiencia adquirida en un negocio familiar, con sede en Londres. Hayley es licenciada en Administración Internacional y Lenguas Modernas por la Universidad de Bath. Comenzó su carrera en Morgan Stanley y posteriormente trabajó en el departamento de inversiones de Tressis. Mientras desarrollaba su carrera laboral, Hayley detectó una creciente demanda deprocesos deselección bilingües de alta calidad y a su vez, la necesidad de un tratamiento más personalizado hacia los candidatos durante un proceso de selección. Victoria se unió al equipo de Victoria Selection&Search a principios de 2017. Empezó como becaria mientras terminaba su grado en Relaciones Laborales y Recursos Humanos en la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos I, convirtiéndose posteriormente en consultora de selección. Gracias a su doble nacionalidad, Victoria habla inglés y español a nivel nativo, poniéndolo en práctica diariamente tanto con clientes como con candidatos. Además de apoyar en la búsqueda de candidatos senior, Victoria se encargará de liderar nuestros procesos más junior.

Itziar ReparazItziar Reparaz

Itziar es la incorporación más reciente al equipo de VSS, habiéndose unido en 2019. Itziar es bilingüe en inglés y nativa en español, después de haber pasado su infancia en el extranjero mientras recibía una educación estadounidense. Trae consigo más de dos años de experiencia en reclutamiento generalista y ha cubierto puestos permanentes y temporales. Tiene un Máster en Gestión y Dirección de RRHH y un Grado en Psicología por la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, siendo conocimientos que pone en uso a diario. Itziar disfruta de la constante interacción humana requerida en su puesto y trabaja tenazmente para proporcionar la máxima calidad tanto a los candidatos como a los clientes.

Bilingual Document Controller, Private Equity, Barcelona

Our client, a boutique Private Equity/Investment Firm with offices across Europe is looking for a meticulous bilingual Document Controller to support their driven team.

Among others, duties will include:

  • Establish and implement digital and physical archiving systems alongside COO
  • Assist with templates, systems and manage requests for documentation
  • Assist with the transfer of documentation from European offices to the Barcelona office (central hub)
  • Workflows of documentation for simultaneous projects (from bid to completion and management)
  • Ensure timely delivery of detailed documentation whilst adhering to established operating procedures
  • Applying the appropriate care and discretion whilst dealing with information of a strictly confidential nature

Candidates must be bilingual in English/Spanish, hold a relevant University Degree (Information management or Librarianship viewed favourably) be adept with industry specific tools as well as Microsoft Office, Gsuite, Slack and Zoom. Candidates should have previous experience in a similar role.

Bilingual Office Manager/Team Assistant, Venture Capital, Madrid (Remote, Part-Time)

Our client, an exciting Venture Capital firm at a key growth phase are currently looking for an ambitious bilingual Office Manager/Team Assistant to support their team between (Madrid, London and Paris). Please note, this position will be conducted remotely.

Among others, duties will include:

  1. General Administrative tasks for the team

-        Agenda management for the team

-        Travel arrangements and logistics for the team

-        Acting as first point of contact for sales providers and negotiating supplier contracts

-        Managing main inbox and enquires

-        Managing occasional events

-        Invoicing, expense reports and credit card reconciliation

-        Liaising with gestoria

-        Distribution lists and sending of mass emails

Bilingual Receptionist (+conversational English lessons), Law, Madrid (Part-Time)

Our client, a boutique Law firm is looking for a proactive, Bilingual Receptionist to work in their Madrid office in Barrio Salamanca on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities (among others) include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for the firm
  • Managing the switchboard and directing calls appropriately
  • Greeting clients and visitors and ensuring they are looked after whilst at the office
  • Scheduling meetings and reserving meeting rooms
  • Managing office supplies (stationary, copier etc.) and liaising with providers
  • Receiving and shipping letters and courier packages
  • Assisting with back office tasks as required (expense reports, database and adding contacts to the database)
  • Ad hoc secretarial tasks and providing support to the team of EAs
  • If the candidate has prior experience giving conversational English lessons, the role will include teaching hours for a couple of hours a week

Candidates must have a bilingual level of English, High level of Spanish, a relevant University degree/Secretarial studies and a professional level of Microsoft Office. Ideally the candidate will have previous experience in a customer facing role or as an English teacher.

Bilingual Paralegal/Legal Assistant, Madrid

Our client, the Madrid subsidiary of one of Europe’s best-regarded intellectual property specialists is looking for a reliable bilingual Paralegal/Administrative to join their team on a permanent contract.

Responsibilities (among others) include: Presentation and processing of patent applications, monitoring the application process, reviewing official documentation and communication, preparing formal documents, informing international clients about the status of the process, opening records both electronically and physically, continuous communication with the various European offices and international associates, budgeting & preparing invoices, electronic and physical archiving and general administrative support.

Candidates must be entirely bilingual in English/Spanish, dominate the Microsoft Office package, hold a strong University degree and have at least 2 years previous experience in a Paralegal/Administrative role.

The ideal candidate must be able to manage strict deadlines, be meticulous with attention to detail and be able to effectively prioritise a full workload.

Trilingual Executive Assistant to President, Barcelona/London

Our client, a multinational firm, is looking for an exceptional Trilingual (Catalan, Spanish, English) Executive Assistant to provide top level support to the President who is based between Barcelona and London.

Acting as the “right hand” of the President, responsibilities (among others) will
include:
Presidential Support
 Act as the “link” between the President and the shareholders (Family
Office)
 Seamless organisation of agenda and meetings
 Scheduling meetings, teleconferences and videoconferences across time
zones & geographies

President in an international environment. Previous experience in a Family

Office will also be regarded favourably. They must be able to manage both Mac
and PC, GSuite and Microsoft software.

The ideal candidate will be discreet, tremendously personable and display

tactful, empathetic and able to converse appropriately with shareholders and
clients. A “no task to big/small”, flexible attitude is essential as well the ability to

Bilingual Student Recruitment Intern - Victoria Selection & Search

We are looking for a student intern to join our small team in our Madrid office based just off the Castellana (Calle Ayala). This is an exciting part-time opportunity for a proactive student who is looking for a true insight as to how a busy, small business works. Our office is English speaking.

 

Tasks (among many others) will include:

-        Scheduling meetings and calls for consultants and candidates, managing a constantly changing calendar (Google Calendar, Gmail & Telephone)

-        CV screening, scheduling candidate interviews over the telephone

-        Welcoming candidates for meetings, attending interviews with consultants and following up

-        Managing and update CRM system/database (Bullhorn) ensuring all documentation is recorded with precision

-        Booking and preparing meeting rooms

-        Formatting CVs

-        Identifying potential business leads and following up (LinkedIn)

-        Answering the telephone in English and Spanish and filtering calls

-        Assisting with MailChimp mail outs and Surveys (Google Forms)

-        Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks as and when required (petty cash, helping purchase office supplies, organising team lunches/Christmas presents etc.)

 

The ideal candidate will be a “people person” who thrives in a busy office and is willing to get “stuck in”. Being a small and young team of 3 consultants, it’s essential that the chosen intern is proactive, flexible and able to switch gears quickly. They must us  Microsoft Excel, Word, and G Suite with ease.
