Hayley GyereHayley Gyere

Hayley is the founder of Victoria Selection & Search whose background in recruitment stems from an early exposure to her family's successful London based recruitment firm. She graduated with a degree in International Management and Spanish from the University of Bath, began her career at Morgan Stanley and subsequently joined the investment team at Tressis - a boutique finance house based in Madrid. Whilst developing her career, she noticed demand for quality bilingual search and selection as well as the need for a personalised candidate approach. Hayley speaks both Spanish and English and is passionate about providing excellence to both clients and candidates.

Victoria Rodríguez NindVictoria Rodríguez Nind

Victoria joined the Victoria Selection & Search team in 2017. She started as an intern whilst completing her degree in Human Resources and Labour Relations at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos I and subsequently became a full-time consultant. Thanks to her dual nationality, Victoria speaks a native level of both English and Spanish, which she puts to good use daily with both clients and candidates. Victoria takes the lead on our more junior roles whilst also provides unfaltering support during senior recruitment processes. Victoria prides herself on being approachable and is always willing to go the extra mile to surpass expectations of both candidates and clients.

 

We select professional, English and Spanish speaking candidates for a wide range of companies. These candidates not only meet the demands of the required role but also fit perfectly with the business culture.

Hayley es la socia fundadora de Victoria Selection&Search. Su conocimiento del sector proviene de su experiencia adquirida en un negocio familiar, con sede en Londres. Hayley es licenciada en Administración Internacional y Lenguas Modernas por la Universidad de Bath. Comenzó su carrera en Morgan Stanley y posteriormente trabajó en el departamento de inversiones de Tressis. Mientras desarrollaba su carrera laboral, Hayley detectó una creciente demanda deprocesos deselección bilingües de alta calidad y a su vez, la necesidad de un tratamiento más personalizado hacia los candidatos durante un proceso de selección. Victoria se unió al equipo de Victoria Selection&Search a principios de 2017. Empezó como becaria mientras terminaba su grado en Relaciones Laborales y Recursos Humanos en la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos I, convirtiéndose posteriormente en consultora de selección. Gracias a su doble nacionalidad, Victoria habla inglés y español a nivel nativo, poniéndolo en práctica diariamente tanto con clientes como con candidatos. Además de apoyar en la búsqueda de candidatos senior, Victoria se encargará de liderar nuestros procesos más junior.

Our client, a busy immigration firm are looking for a bright bilingual Paralegal to work in their close knit, team.

Responsibilities (among others) include: Providing administrative support to fee earners, drafting and editing applications and cases, monitoring the cases and working to deadlines, proofreading legal documentation, reviewing contracts, formatting documentation, informing international clients about the status of processes, opening records both electronically and physically, preparing invoices, electronic and physical archiving and general administrative support.

Candidates must be entirely bilingual in English/Spanish, dominate the Microsoft Office package, hold a strong University degree and have at least 6 months/1  year previous experience in an administrative role.  

The ideal candidate must be able to manage  deadlines, have a keen eye to detail and be able to effectively prioritise a full workload.

Bilingual PA & Office Assistant, Consulting firm, Barcelona

Our client, an international specialist consultancy firm is looking for a polished Bilingual (Native English speaking) PA & Office Assistant to provide support in their Barcelona based office. 

Responsibilities (among others) include:

  • Acting as the front face of the company, in the office and through telephone and e-mail
  • PA to President & Managing Director (calendars, appointments, personal & business travel, liaising with domestic suppliers/housekeepers)
  • Organising all company travel
  • Managing all company suppliers
  • Sending couriers
  • Drafting standard operating procedures for internal processes
  • Maintaining all office supplies (kitchen, office equipment, IT, etc.)
  • Managing all admin processes for accounting purposes:
    • Supplier invoices & expenses
    • Staff credit card expenses
    • Petty cash
  • Managing use of company car by checking availability, managing calendar and ensuring km are correctly recorded; organising maintenance, refuelling and cleaning

Bilingual Admin Coordinator, Consulting firm, Barcelona

Our client, an international specialist consultancy firm is looking for a driven Bilingual (Native English speaking) Admin Coordinator to provide support in their Barcelona based office.

Supporting the Admin & HR Director, responsibilities (among others) will include:

  • Answering & directing telephone calls
  • Correcting timesheets
  • Adding company expenses billable to clients on the database
  • Invoicing
  • Digitalisation of admin processes on the database; liaising with database supplier
  • Drafting, proofreading and editing documents in English
  • Preparing and editing correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents in English
  • Internal communications
  • Assisting in the creation and editing of content for the website, social media, newsletter, etc
  • Assisting in publishing marketing material in line with marketing plan

Bilingual Executive Assistant, Investor Relations, Madrid

Our client, a market leader in independent investment is looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support a team of Directors of Investor Relations and Business Development.

Responsibilities (among others) will include: Managing the Directors’ complicated agenda and extensive travel arrangements (80% of workload) this includes worldwide travel (flights, private transfers, coordinating with travel agent, hotels, visas), scheduling meetings and complex conference calls across global time zones, conference call set up across time zones with current and potential Private Equity investors  such as pension funds and insurance groups), develop relationships with EAs of potential investors and internal administrative staff to facilitate interdepartmental scheduling, documentation and correspondence in English and Spanish (data rooms, presentations, financial reports), organise materials for meetings (videoconference, iPad setup, data rooms, presentations), complete database backups to ensure information is securely managed and provide ad hoc support to Chairman’s team as required.

Candidates must have at least 5 years’ experience working as an EA in financial services, (Private Equity or M&A), they must be numerate, preferably hold a strong University Degree and have an advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (PowerPoint, Excel).  

Candidates must be bilingual as this role is conducted in both in English and Spanish. They must be able to work in alongside another EA (team of 2) and be able to develop professional relationships (given that this is a role in a business development). They will fully understand what investor relations entail, be results focused and able to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.

Bilingual Junior Office Manager, Boutique Investment Firm, Madrid

Our client, a boutique investment firm who specialise in the renewable energy sector is looking for a bright and proactive Bilingual Junior Office Manager to help manage their Madrid Office.

Responsibilities (among others) include:

  • Greeting investors, clients and visitors
  • Run the reception, telephone reception and organisation of meetings
  • Booking travel through agent and calendar management
  • Managing office supplies (stationary etc.)
  • Organising Board meetings
  • Organising company events (Christmas dinner etc.)
  • Management of IT tasks (liaising with external providers)
  • Receiving and shipping courier packages
  • Documentation management and archiving
  • Supporting the team with submission of statistics, and legal registries
  • Carrying out ad hoc secretarial tasks as required

Candidates must be entirely bilingual or have an exceptionally high level of Spanish and English. They must have at least 1-2 years’ in a similar sector and should hold a University Degree/ have completed Secretarial studies.  They must manage the Microsoft Office package (notably Excel) with ease.

Bilingual Student Recruitment Intern - Victoria Selection & Search

Victoria Selection & Search is looking for a student intern to join our team in our Madrid office, just off the Castellana. This is an exciting part-time opportunity. It will be a hands-on position in an English speaking office.

Tasks (among many others) will include:

·       CV screening, scheduling candidate interviews

·       Scheduling of meetings and calls for consultants and candidates

·       Identifying potential business leads and contacting prospective clients

·       Carrying out research on market trends

·       Managing and update CRM system/database

·       Answering the telephone in English and Spanish and filtering calls

·       Welcoming candidates, attending registration interviews and follow up

·       Booking and preparing meeting rooms

·       Managing documentation with care

·       Formatting CVs

·       Assisting with MailChimp and SurveyMonkey

·       Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks when required

 

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and ambitious individual who is bilingual in English and Spanish (the office language is English). They should be willing to learn, flexible and must be confident whilst speaking on the telephone.
