Bilingual Personal Assistant, Law firm. Madrid

Our client, a prestigious international Law firm are looking for a polished and responsible bilingual PA to assist a Managing partner and team.

Among others, duties will include: Performing PA duties for the partner and team (diary management, flights, travel & accommodation), preparing PowerPoint presentations and client reports, amending legal documentation (track changes), international client meetings, organising events and liaising with clients (coffee mornings, seminars, offsite) international call filtering & continuous communication with global offices across various time zones, electronic archiving of documents and ad hoc secretarial tasks for the team.

Candidates must be entirely bilingual in English/Spanish, must dominate the Microsoft Office package, hold a credible University degree and have at least 4/5 years previous experience in a PA/Secretarial role, ideally in the legal/financial sectors.

Bilingual Translator, Law firm, Madrid

Our client, a well-regarded international multidisciplinary Law firm are looking for a Translator to provide in house support.  

Among others, duties will include: Undertaking formal legal translations (predominately ESP- ENG but also ENG - ESP), proofreading and correcting formal documentation, working to tight deadlines, translation of in house documentation including: emails, presentations, pitches, in house announcements  and responding to ad-hoc translation requests from various team members.

Candidates must be a native English speaker and bilingual in Spanish (other languages a plus), hold a credible University degree - Translation and Interpretation/Legal Translation (Sworn translation a plus) and use the Microsoft Office package with ease. At least two years experience managing legal or financial documentation is a prerequisite for this role.

The ideal candidate will be meticulous, conscientious and able to produce accurate work on a timely basis.

Salary – €30,000

Bilingual Executive Assistant, Madrid

Our client, a prominent British Law firm are looking for an articulate bilingual personal executive to assist a senior partner and team.

Among others, duties will include: Performing EA duties for the partner (complex agenda management, flights, travel & accommodation), amending legal documentation (track changes), elements of legal translation, international client meetings, international call filtering & continuous communication with the various global offices, PowerPoint presentations for clients, electronic archiving of documents and general administrative support this important team.

Bilingual Team Assistant, Investment Banking, Madrid

Our client, a prestigious international investment bank firm are looking for a polished bilingual Team Assistant support to their small team in Madrid on a part time basis.

Responsibilities (among others) include: Complex agenda and travel management for Senior Managing Director, call reception, visitor reception, acting as gatekeeper, conference call and dial in set up across time zones, ordering all Office supplies (coffee, stationary) compiling expense reports, preparing sending and following up on invoices, daily electronic and physical filing, daily hand over period with other assistant and assisting the Office Manager with any ad hoc task as required.

Candidates must be entirely bilingual or have an exceptionally high level of Spanish and English, have an advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office package and display excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. Previous experience as an assistant in banking, financial services or consulting is a prerequisite for this role (corporate finance - M&A or restructuring is a plus).

They must be able to handle delicate information with the upmost confidentiality and learn quickly. They will be assertive, responsible and must show initiative. They must be a team player (essential for this role given it’s a job share position) and able to react quickly given the fast changing nature of M&A.

Bilingual Receptionist/Administrative Coordinator, Madrid

Our client, a principal independent investment firm are looking for a switched on bilingual Receptionist/PA to Office Manager to assist their dynamic team.

Among others, duties will include: International call filtering and call transfers (English & Spanish), creating and sustaining systematic procedures for administrative tasks, greeting & assisting visitors (English & Spanish), preparing office materials & organising meeting rooms, organising catering services, organising courier services, managing office supplies (stationary, kitchen supplies), liaising with suppliers and organising any necessary office repairs, filing and managing office documentation, assisting Office Manager to ensure the smooth running of the office and acting as a “go to person” for ad hoc administrative requirements. 

Candidates must be bilingual or have an exceptionally high level of Spanish and English. They should have at least 2 years’ experience working as an Assistant in financial services, or consulting, hold a strong University Degree or Secretarial Qualifications and have an advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.

Bilingual Translator, Law firm, Madrid

Our client, a prestigious multinational Law firm are looking for a bright bilingual Translator to provide in house support. 

Among others, duties will include: Undertaking legal translations for various international projects (ESPàENG and ENGàESP), monitoring deadlines and ensuring documents are submitted on time, proofreading formal documentation, translation of internal: email, presentations, proposals and notes; constant communication with global offices, coordination with central office in Europe to facilitate projects split across various country teams, coordination with team of preferred freelance translators for certain projects  and responding to ad-hoc translation requests from various team members.

Candidates must be entirely bilingual in English/Spanish (French or other languages a plus), hold a credible University degree - Translation and Interpretation/Legal Translation, English Philology + experience in translation, Sworn translation skills a plus. Candidates must dominate the Microsoft Office package and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. At least two years of previous experience in a translation role in the Legal or Consulting sectors is a prerequisite for this role.

Bilingual Student Intern - Victoria Selection & Search

We are looking for a student intern to join our team in our Madrid office located in the heart of Barrio Salamanca. This is an exciting part - time opportunity. It will be a hands-on position in an English and Spanish speaking office. This position will be from June 2018 onwards. 

Tasks (among many others) will include: 

-        Maintaining and updating a candidate and client database (Excel, Google Drive and specialist recruitment CRM software)

-        CV screening

-        Scheduling meetings and calls

-        Candidate (interview) calls in English and Spanish, email follow up (Gmail)

-        Research: identifying potential clients and candidates, searching for potential leads

-        Assisting with Candidate interviews and write ups

-        Helping to prepare client and candidate bulletins (using Mailchimp)

-        Analysis using Microsoft Excel

-        Ad hoc secretarial tasks

The ideal candidate will be a driven individual who is very comfortable communicating in both Spanish and English. They should be willing to learn and confident on the telephone.
